Communication with the enrolling person
A Confirmation of Enrolment will be sent automatically by AMEB Connect to the enrolling person after payment has been made. It is very important that all candidate details are carefully checked. Corrections to enrolments (with the exception of scheduling requests) must be submitted by email within 5 business days. Parents and candidates should note that results, certificates and partial refund of fees (if applicable) will be provided only to the enrolling person (teacher, school or private entrant).
Exam timetable information will normally be given only to the enrolling person. However, in emergencies, timetable information will be given to parents and candidates, provided that they can supply all of the following details: the teacher’s name and address, candidate’s name, date of birth and the subject and grade for which the candidate is enrolled.
AMEB respects the confidentiality of candidates and therefore communication about examinations is normally with the enrolling person. However, in an emergency, timetable information will be provided to parents or candidates if they can accurately identify the candidate by providing all of the following details: teacher’s name and address; candidate name and date of birth; and the subject and grade for which the candidate is enrolled.
In addition, AMEB Victoria can only respond to appeals and complaints made by the person who enrolled the candidate, or the candidate if over the age of 18. Where the candidate is under the age of 18, the candidate’s parent or guardian may communicate with us on their behalf.
