Centennial Conferring of Diplomas

A special Centennial Conferring of Diplomas Ceremony was held in the Melbourne Town Hall on 21 March 2018. The Ceremony recognised the achievements of outstanding young musicians who were successful in the Licentiate in Music, Australia (LMusA), the Associate in Music, Australia (AMusA), and the Rockschool Diploma in Music Performance.

The Centennial Address was presented by Professor Warren Bebbington and the Occasional Address was presented by Professor Ian Holtham.

AMusA – Of the 95 successful candidates for the Associate Diploma, 11 were awarded with Distinction in Clarinet, Classical Guitar, Flute, Horn, Oboe, Trumpet and Violin.
LMusA – The Licentiate Diploma was conferred on 27 successful candidates, of whom 8 were awarded with Distinction in Cello, Flute, Piano and Violin.
Three LMusA with Distinction diplomates gave wonderful performances during the ceremony: Phillip Eversheim on Flute; Zacch Seah on Piano and Ji Woo Yoon on Cello.
